念願の積丹半島は雲丹尽くしのオーベルジュ。
しかも一年で3ヶ月しかない雲丹漁の解禁を待っての訪問。
東京から新千歳、新千歳から電車で札幌、札幌でレンタカーをピックアップ後に海岸線を約２時間走って辿り着いた積丹半島。
真夏の北海道。
積丹ブルーと言われる美しい海に突き出た岩々。
夏草の濃い緑と海の青が合わさり果てしなく地平線が広がる。
そして、この土地が育んだ滋味溢れる海の幸。
鮑、カニ、牡丹エビ、イクラ、サーモンと並ぶ中、やはり主役は積丹のキタムラサキウニ。
塩水からすくって食べる雲丹はやはり期待通りに格別でこの季節、ここでしか食べれない一品。
北の海で昆布を食べて育った雲丹は旨いはずで、口に入れるとホロリと溶けて何とも言えない上品な甘みと旨味が脳天に突き刺さる。
そしてこれに北海道の地酒と余市のワインをいただく。
まさにガストロノミーツーリズム。
遥々、来る必然がある。
この一瞬を噛み締めて感涙。
北海道の短い夏を味わう。
