Continuing from last week, I wandered around Kobe. I decided to go home after having dinner, but I have never been to the downtown area north of Sannomiya Station, especially at night. I didn't get much success with anything other than Ramen at this restaurant, which was open at 4:30pm, but I heard that Robata-yaki Ozeki was open, so I decided to give it a try. Most of the seats at the counter on the first floor, which is a famous restaurant, were occupied even early in the morning, but we were lucky enough to be able to sit down until 6:30 p.m. I didn't really have an image of Robata-yaki, but I wonder if it's directly grilled? So I ordered fish and Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). ⚫︎Atka mackerel/Salt mackerel Freshly grilled is great. The freshness remains. ⚫︎The Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was delicious, but I would like a little more in terms of quantity. Gyoza / Dumpling (Kurobuta) It was small, but the filling was quite thick and it was delicious even without sauce. ⚫︎Shimeji mushrooms steamed in a clay pot This soup stock was quite delicious. In addition to shimeji mushrooms, there were small shrimp, ginkgo nuts, and a little bit of chicken. It's a must-order dish when you come here, and other customers were also ordering it quite a bit. ⚫︎Garlic rice It was a big hit as a finishing touch. It was more garlic fried rice than garlic rice. It wasn't oily and the quantity was just enough for one person. The food here is delicious, but the main purpose is to eat while watching the female staff cook the food right in front of you. I ordered edamame and ginger ale on top of the above, and the bill was 4,200 yen.
