取引先の方と忘年会を行う事に
なり、先方2人と私たち猛獣5頭いや、
5人の合計7人入れる店を探していました。
行きつけのバーで相談したところ、
オススメと紹介され、その場で予約
して頂きました。
初めて行く店に人を招く事はめったに
ありませんが、バーのマスターは信頼
出来る方なので安心しての訪問です。
店の場所は東門と北野坂の間にある、
何度行っても間違える迷路のような
通りにあります。
しかもビルの2階にあり、2階への
アプローチの階段は他の店の飾り付け
で当店は目立ちません。
暖簾をくぐり店内へ入りました。
オープンなテーブル席とカウンターが
数席あります。
一番奥の予約席へ案内されました。
1頭が遅れてくるため、6人で宴会スタート
です。
予めオーダーしていたコース料理の
・刺身盛
が運ばれてきます。店の方は口数が少なく、
余計な事は話しません。
刺身は盛り付けも美しく、魚の種類も
豊富で、素材にあった味付けが施されて
いるものもあります。
非常に美味しい料理でしたが、肉食獣たちに
繊細な料理の感想を求めるのが間違いでした。
完全な丸呑みです。
また完全に酒が先行しているため、
トークが中心で宴が進みます。
大自然に囲まれた、コンビニすらない
岡山県の奥地から来られた取引先の方々
も、関西人たちのマシンガントークに
息継ぎすら出来ません！
肝心の料理の方は
・豚しゃぶサラダ
・焼魚
・天ぷら盛り合わせ
・牛肉料理
・鯖寿司
と続き、どれも美味で飽きさせません。
猛獣使いの私一人が味わっていると思いきや、
黙々と食べている者が一人！
キャベツの生かぶりで有名な、
年長者の
オスです。
小さい声で「うまい！」
と頷きながら料理を堪能しています。
猛獣も50代になると、丸呑みではなく、
咀嚼する事を覚えたようです。
宴も終盤に近づいた頃、遅れていた
わんぱく獣が到着しました。
季節感のない黒く日焼けした肌と、ひげ面
で、殆んどの者が悪印象を受けます。
わんぱく獣が酒を少しと残り物をあさって
いると、ノーサイド！
宴の終了です。本当にいい店でした！
まさに！居酒屋のキング！
私たちは吠えながら、紹介者のバーへよつん這いで、向かいました。
今宵は満月のようです。
