初訪問は日曜日の開店時間10分前。場所はJR元町駅東口を北へ出て、鮎川筋を北へ、次の生田新道との交差点を越えてから今度は西へ、すぐ次の角を北へ60Mほど進んだ右手にあります。駅から5～6分です。
お店は道路に面しておらず、奥まったところに一軒家のようなお店があり、路地から小道を通ってお店の玄関まで進みます。
到着すると3組6名がお待ちでした。時間通りにオープン、まず事前に予約可能なコース料理の方から案内されます。数分待って予約のないお客さんが店内へ案内されます。お店は靴を脱いでスリッパに履き替えます。料亭へ入る感覚です。
店内の照明は暗めで、天井、壁、床、椅子、テーブルともややツヤ感のある暗い色で統一されていて高級感があります。私が案内された奥の部屋は4名席が3卓ありました。カウンター席もあり、入口左側には離れになった部屋もあるようです。
テーブルにはタブレットがあり、それを使って料理の注文から、お会計まで行います。お茶はテーブルに用意されています。PAYPAYで支払う時はQRｺｰﾄﾞを持って来てくれます。
注文したのは、黒毛和牛のひつまぶしです。割とすぐにお盆に乗って登場です。お盆には、ひつまぶし、お味噌汁、薬味、出し汁、お茶碗が乗ってます。
ひつまぶしの蓋を取ってびっくり、こんなに美しく牛肉が並んでいる姿を見たことがありません。ご飯の量はもう少しあってもいいような気がしますが、食べ応えは十分あります。
お肉のお味は、半生のお肉を食べている感覚に近いのですが、良質なお肉なのでここまで生に近い状態でも大丈夫なのでしょうね。脂身などもない良い部位を使っているのが分かります。
色々な食べ方を店員さんが教えてくれますが、出し汁を入れて食べるのがやはり一番美味いです。
十二分に牛肉を堪能し、PAYPAYでお支払いをして退店しました。
後客もいましたが、満席にはならず、外待ちもありませんでした。以前同じ時間帯にお店の前を通った時は、並びがありました。
