My first visit was on a Saturday just after opening time. The location is: Exit the west exit of JR Motomachi Station to the south, cross the traffic light, turn around the JRA building, go south, cross Motomachi Dori Shopping Street, go east through Chinatown for about 5~6m, turn south at the first corner and go south for 15m. It's just ahead on your left. It is 3-4 minutes from the station. The noren curtains were already out, and I entered the store following the first and second customers, and since I had made a reservation, I was shown to a counter seat. Lunch is a one-menu course meal for 2,750 yen. It is an operation with 2 people at the counter and 2 people on the floor. The sound of a piano echoes inside the store. The cooking started soon and the first appetizers came out. This is so good that you can almost call it the main thing. It is as beautiful as a beautiful flower blooming on a dark colored plate. You can see that each item is carefully crafted and cooked. It looks like art, but the taste is delicious. I feel like I have discovered the essence of Japanese Cuisine. This appetizer is a feast for both the eyes and the taste. The female clerk explained each item carefully, but the explanations were so detailed that I couldn't remember them at all. After that, you'll be served a bowl of soup, your main dish of flounder from among three dishes, followed by rice, miso soup, and dessert. The Kyoto bancha served at the end is delicious and soothing. There are 12 counter seats, 3 tables for 4 people, and 2 tables for 2 people. There were 2 groups of 4 people. On this day, it seemed possible to enter the store without a reservation. I paid with my card and left the store. A female clerk greeted me outside the store. It has a Kyoto style feel, so the quantity is small. It may not be enough for young men.
