Located in the heart of Kobe Port tourism. Hotel Viking is within walking distance of Harborland and Mosaic.
Lunch is currently closed, but the dinner buffet has resumed after being closed for a while due to the COVID-19 pandemic! Many customers are already enjoying it. Although it is called a hotel buffet, |
Today's lunch is in Kobe. I'm off work and I still have some GoTo points left, so I decided to try the buffet at Port Kitchen, which I've been interested in for a while. I arrived at 1pm. There weren't many customers. After a brief explanation, I went to the table where the food was lined up. I found a mountain of crab right in front of me. I immediately put two crabs on my plate and sat down. This is what I'm aiming for today. It's red snow crab, and you can eat as much as you want, so it seems to be the most popular. Every table piles it on their plate and eats it silently. The meat is not too dense. It doesn't compare to real snow crab, but the taste is quite satisfying. It's okay to just eat. My plate was empty in no time, so I took a mountain of crab next. I was like a crab-eating monkey. I did this a few times, and when the big shell container was full, I looked at other dishes. I arranged fried and Simmered dish as I like, and took the crab back to my seat. The fried food must have been fried a while ago, so it felt oily. I'll have Steak then. They will grill as much as you like in front of you, so I order two servings. It's cut into bite-sized pieces, so it's more like yakiniku than Steak. But this meat is surprisingly tasty. It's not at the level of an all-you-can-eat buffet. I finish it in one go and order a second serving. The time limit (80 minutes) is about to be reached. I'm getting full, so I go for dessert. There are various cakes and a chocolate fountain. But I don't think I can handle sweet things. I finish off with matcha ice cream, fruit, and coffee. I don't think I'll need dinner tonight. Thank you for the meal.
