had the ¥13000 omakase course, overall the meal exceeded my expectations. a few pieces were particularly impressive. sea bream (tai) was really fresh, the mild sweetness was outstanding. steamed egg (chawanmushi) looks normal but the little squid inside brought out extra flavor. blackthroat seaperch (nodoguro) was slightly heated with charcoal on the surface, had a bit of show effect, taste great but no surprise here because that was expected from nodoguro. shrimp (kuruma ebi) was the most impressive among all, very strong flavor and sweetness, worth to pay the extra just for this and the nodoguro, which the ¥11000 course excluded. chef speaks limited english, but tried hard to communicate and entertain guests. all in all, good value for money. below is japanese translation via software.
13000円のおまかせコースは期待以上でした。特に印象に残った料理が数品ありました。鯛はとても新鮮で、マイルドな甘さが際立っていました。茶碗蒸しは見た目は普通ですが、中に入っていた小さなイカが風味を一層引き立てていました。ノドグロは表面を炭で軽く焼いてあり、ショー効果がありました、味は素晴らしいが、それはノドグロに期待されていたので、ここでは驚くべきことではない。車エビは中でも最も印象的で、とても強い風味と甘みがあり、11000円のコースには含まれていない車エビとノドグロのためだけに追加料金を払う価値がありました。シェフは英語があまり話せませんでしたが、一生懸命コミュニケーションを取り、ゲストを楽しませようとしていました。全体的に、コストパフォーマンスは良かったです。
