Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is located in a place that is difficult to get to by car, but the lunch is very good value for money.
It's been a long time since I last visited this restaurant 25 years ago, when I was attracted by the punny name 9 x 4 = 36 and came here for a drink with my coworkers. I knew that the restaurant was open for lunch, so I've been here a few times, but it seems that they often close early, ending their business at 2 p.m., so I haven't been able to come here often. I had the 3-item Small dish lunch for 750 yen including tax. Small dish on this day were as follows: 1. Deep-fried eggplant and shrimp 2. Sweet and spicy chicken dish 3. Boiled taro All of them were carefully seasoned, and the lunch was well-balanced with rice and miso soup. I think business is tough due to the new coronavirus, but I hope they will continue to do their best. I'll come again. Thank you for the meal.

Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Restaurants takes pride in its dishes that make the most of the natural flavors of seasonal fish and vegetables.
The restaurant is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and the interior is a retro Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but the food served is a bit new, making the most of the ingredients' natural flavors. You |
This is my first visit in three years for lunch alone. I was attracted by the cheesy name 9×4=36 28 years ago, and have been coming here with my coworkers for drinks ever since. This time, I had the sujikon Croquette lunch (990 yen including tax), which I had been interested in for a while. The main dish was two Croquette of Japanese beef tendon and konnyaku with Small dish of Vinegared dish vegetables. The sujikon Croquette is apparently a popular menu item in the evening, and was only available on Saturdays and Sundays, but it seems that it has been a regular menu item on weekdays for a few years now. I had Croquette with demi-glace sauce. The tendon meat was stewed in a sweet and spicy sauce, and was chewy and flavorful. However, with these two Croquette as the main dish, it was hard to eat rice, and other set meals seemed cheaper and more filling. I would like to have fish or Small dish at this restaurant. I will come again. Thank you for the meal.
