赤穂市の朝日町南交差点から赤穂温泉方面へ進むと、赤穂御崎観光駐車場付近の瀬戸内海沿いに位置する。
外観はすっきりとまとめられていて趣漂う佇まいで、館内は至る所から海が見える開放的な雰囲気である。
料理は瀬戸内海の新鮮な魚介を取り入れられており、宿泊プランごとに選択できる内容が用意されている。
メニューはドリンクの種類が豊富なラインナップで、部屋食プランの場合は夕食のみ客室での食事である。
四季彩り会席の前菜は９種類が盛り付けられており、造りは瀬戸内海の鮮魚にあしらいが添えられている。
椀物の鱧と松茸の土瓶蒸しは風味豊かな仕上がりで、小鍋の牛しゃぶは出汁と調和した旨みを堪能できる。
焼物の鮑の陶板焼きは素材を生かした上質な旨みで、油物の秋刀魚天婦羅は季節の野菜と一緒に楽しめる。
御飯は鯛釜めしでまろやかな旨みが引き立っており、留椀の合わせ味噌仕立ては芳醇なコクが感じられる。
香の物はシンプルながらもそれぞれ優しい味わいで、水菓子の季節のデザートは旬の果物と水羊羹である。
朝食は５階にある食事処または宴会場での和食膳で、地元産の食材にこだわられているのが伝わってくる。
露天風呂は播磨灘と一体化した絶景が広がっており、様々な年齢層から親しまれている印象の旅館である。
