水戸市に来ています。今宵は南町辺りを散策してみる事にしましょう。
南町一丁目の信号から少し入ってみます。この辺りはお店が多いと踏んでいたのですが、
生憎の日曜日の夜なので営業されているお店は限られますね。
そんな訳で深く考えず、目に付いた焼鳥屋さんへ入ってみる事に。
店内は大きめのカウンター、そして宴会スペースのような広めの座敷が。
未だ口開けの時間帯ですが、こういうお店ってじきに団体さんが
入ってくることが予想されますので、静かに飲みたい２名は迷わずカウンター席へ。
まずは看板商品であろう焼き鳥をお願いしましょう。
もも、つくね、ネギ間、レバー等、タレ、塩取り交ぜて１０本くらいお願いすれば、
カウンターの中で煙が上がりはじめ、程無くして続々と到着。
まずはネギ間をパクリ。あれ！？、美味いじゃん♡。
大変失礼ながらチェーン店のような店構えだったので、出来栄えに関してはあまり期待
していなかったのですが、これはジューシーで美味いです。
タレはあっさりしている方だと思いますが、素材自体に甘味があるのでこれで十分。
他に品も普通以上に美味しかったのですが、中でも特筆すべきはレバーの美味さ。
とろけるような食感はかなりハイレベルですね。
こちらのお店、食べログの☆こそ３．１にも届いていませんが、焼き鳥だけを見れば
とてもそんな点数とは思えない上等な品だと思います。
惜しむべきは日本酒の種類が少な目な点かもしれませんが、リーズナブルな
焼き鳥屋としてはこれで良いのかもしれませんね。
フラリと入って、生ビール片手に焼き鳥で一杯という向きには十分満足できる
お店だと思いました。
