It's an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located right near Mito City Hall. I visited at 10pm on a weekday. 1 customer ahead of me, no customers after me. Looks like things are going to be tough due to the coronavirus. I don't think the location is bad. . . The first thing I ordered was the toast set. The price is 980 yen. This is a set of 1 drink of your choice, yakitori or sashimi, and Small dish. You can choose from three types Small dish, including edamame and pickles. I ordered draft beer, yakitori, and assorted pickles. Yakitori consists of meatballs, skin, and green onions. The taste is normal. It's quite delicious. The pickle platter had 5 types of pickles. Next, I ordered 5 selection Fried Skewers. The price is 500 yen. There were 5 pieces: lotus root, pickled ginger, quail, okra, and chicken breast cheese. It's not bad since it's freshly fried, but it's just a normal taste. Finish off with Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). The price is 430 yen. Although Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) had a lot of sauce, I think the seasoning was just right. I think the overall price structure is reasonable. On the other hand, I wonder if the quality of the food is commensurate with the price. It might not be a bad choice for people who want to drink cheaply. Thank you for the meal.
