I didn't have much time, so I had a quick lunch at a chain restaurant, and it was a private room and I ordered on a tablet, so it wasn't too much of a hassle. The order is 1,056 yen for the Shami Gozen, and at first glance it looks luxurious as it comes with a choice of soba or udon, two mini bowls, chawanmushi, and pickled vegetables. This time I had cold soba noodles and a mini bowl of tuna and Ten-don (tempura rice bowl). The soba tasted like dried noodles, but the soup was quite sweet. The tuna mini bowl consists of 3 thin slices of tuna topped with dried natto. All of Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) have a hard coating, a sweet sauce, and the ingredients are shrimp, sweet potato, eggplant, lotus root, and shishito peppers, but the shishito peppers turned out to be spicy. Overall, the taste is normal for a chain restaurant, but unfortunately it took about 15 minutes from ordering to being served, which is unusual for a chain restaurant.
