As I passed the restaurant, I saw a big "Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot)" sign, and I was drawn in and went in. I usually like to eat Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) with salt, but this time I had the "seasonal Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot)" (I was drunk, so I'm not sure (lol)). There were a few "dried flying fish" on top of the cabbage, and I sunk them to the bottom of the pot and enjoyed the time it took to boil with a highball. I thought 980 yen per portion was very reasonable for this amount. The taste was a little different from Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) I've had before, with a faint aroma of flying fish broth, and it was very delicious. This time, I had it as a final dish of rice, but because it was this amount, I didn't get around to eating rice or noodles. I liked it, so I'd like to try a different flavor next time.
