I had dinner alone today as I was on a business trip.I went to Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) yesterday, so today I visited a nearby Kyushu Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Since I was alone, I took a seat at the counter with the staff in front of me. Ordering is done online by reading the QR code on your smartphone. Even though there's a clerk in front of me, it's a troublesome system. But I changed my mind and ordered shochu, horse sashimi, and mustard lotus root. First, a salad came out as an appetizer. This is pretty tasty. The shochu is poured evenly to the edge of the cup. Next comes horse sashimi... Huh? I didn't ask for liver sashimi, right? I ordered horse sashimi called ``Sakura Niku,'' but when I looked closer, it turned out that the horse meat was just a bad color. A very generous thick slice. I couldn't chew it all. Next, the mustard lotus root appears... The hard, armor-like robe is starting to peel off from the lotus root. As you can see, the clothes are quite stiff. Come to think of it, I ordered the ``karashi'' lotus root. It's not spicy at all. You can also order additional shochu from the web using your smartphone. I guess I could just tell the clerk in front of me. I just don't like this system. However...I think it was a mistake to go to a Local Cuisine restaurant in another area. Let's go on a business trip to Kyushu and eat some authentic food (´；ω；`)
