Taxi: Most drivers will understand if you tell them "Irie 3-chome intersection" or "behind the Autobacs on Irie 3-chome." (Of course, most drivers are familiar with the stores.) It's about 10 minutes from the west exit of Kanazawa Station, Korinbo, and Katamachi. However, it can take more than 20 minutes by taxi during evening traffic jams. Bus: From Komatsu Airport take the Hokuriku Railroad Limited Express Bus to the West Exit of Kanazawa Station via Kanazawa City for approximately 46 minutes, get off at the Yonemaru School bus stop, and walk for approximately 5 minutes (note that super express buses that go directly to Kanazawa Station do not pass through this bus stop) From bus stop 11 at the East Exit of Kanazawa Station (240 yen as of 8/25/2015), take bus number 51 to Midori 2-chome/Utaki or bus number 56 to Saiseikai Hospital for approximately 21 minutes, get off at the Yonemaru School bus stop, and walk for approximately 5 minutes From bus stop 54 to Kamiyasuhara/Kurabe/Futatsuka for approximately 23 minutes, get off at the Yonemaru Jyutaku-mae bus stop, and walk for approximately 4 minutes (Total of approx. 4 buses per hour on weekdays, approx. 3 buses per hour on Saturdays) From bus stop 2 at the West Exit of Kanazawa Station take bus number 57 to Kamiaraya West via Wakamiyacho for approximately 11 minutes, get off at the Yonemaru School bus stop, and walk for approximately 5 minutes (Only valid for the 17:46 departure on weekdays) From Musashi-gatsuji, Korinbo, Katamachi/Katamachi Chuo-dori, in addition to routes 51, 56, and 54 above, you can also use route 57 bound for Shin-Kanazawa Post Office and get off at the Yonemaru School bus stop (in total, there are about 5 buses per hour on weekdays and about 3 buses per hour on Saturdays). 1,547 meters from Shin Nishikanazawa. |

金沢は歴史と自然、そして美食の街だった。初めての北陸、初めての金沢を味わい楽しむために、夜はあえて観光地から離れたカウンター鮨に行くことにした。西口からタクシーで少し行った場所にある「鮨志の助」である。
地元では知られている名店のようで、運転手さんに店名を告げるとそのまま店まで案内してくれた。暖簾をくぐり、お店の中に入ると白木のL字カウンターに既に年配の四人位のご家族と観光客とみられる男性が一名、そして高校生位の息子を連れた女性。これで席は満席となった。
料理は「おまかせ」するとして、おつまみからスタート。
小鯛のポン酢風味、毛蟹の蟹味噌和え、ガスえびとアラ昆布締め、アワビ肝酢、うにのりなどが手際よく出され、途中、おつまみの継続か握りにするか聞かれ、白えびが出されたところで握りをお願いした。
握りの最初はノドグロを少しあぶったものからスタート。脂の乗りとあぶった表面の香りが合わさって美味だった。その後は赤いか(剣先イカ)、甘えびの卵のせ、キス梅肉、トロの表面を軽くあぶったもの、バイ貝に少しお塩であじつけたもの、あじ、ネギトロ、あら汁、うなきゅう、トリガイ、アナゴと続き、どれもこれも絶品で最後にマグロのズケを出されたところでお腹が満たされた。
帰りは、こちらのから頼む前に女将さんが気を利かせ「タクシーをお呼びしましょう」と言って頂き、店の外までお見送りしてもらい、帰路についた。大満足の北陸金沢の夜だった。「また、来よう。」おまかせコース30,000円
