築地のように朝から色々お店が開いているのかと思いきや市民の台所ゆえか朝は意外に閑散としている近江町市場。
そんな中で7時から営業しているこちらは朝から大混雑。伝票に名前と注文を書いて壁に貼って順番待ちなアナログシステムですが、その場で待たないでいいというのはいいですね。ご近所のホテル泊ならいったん部屋に帰ることもできそうです。
ざっと数えて感じ10組待ちぐらいの状態でオープンから30分は経ってるのでそろそろ1回転するかと思い、ご近所をふらふらして時間潰しをし、戻るとあと2組。結局1時間近く待ちましたが十分にお腹も空いて万全の状態で朝から海鮮丼いただきました。オプション追加すると刻みガリとかんぴょうトッピングできるとのことだったのでせっかくの機会なのでお願いしました。
ご飯の量は並と小はサンプルあってどれくらいにするか事前確認してくださいます。
いきいき亭丼ローカルを注文。ネタを説明してくださるのですがすっかり忘れてしまいました。丼と言いながら刺身は別皿。刺身定食のように食べてとの指導入りますが面倒なので自ら丼化。
刺身の身が厚くて食べ応えあり、地魚もしっかりいただけたので朝から海鮮丼満喫させていただきました。
