The former owner of Akame Sushi, one of the best Sushi near Kanazawa Station, has taken on a new challenge with his daughter by opening a Sushi and Sukiyaki restaurant right next to Akame Sushi. This is Akame-chan. I understand Sushi, but why Sukiyaki? So I went there right away. There are about 8 seats at the counter, one table on the 1st floor, and some seats on the 2nd floor. The menu is simple: Sushi and Sukiyaki. Sukiyaki (3,500 yen) is said to be a type that combines the best of Kansai and Kanto styles. To be honest, I didn't quite understand it. The contents are Noto beef, tofu, kurumafu, kamaboko, Chinese cabbage, green onions, konjac, enoki, shimeji, shiitake, and garland chrysanthemum. They use good quality Noto beef and it's very delicious. The Sushi is made by the previous chef. It's as delicious as ever, and even if it's on the menu, they won't serve it unless it has a good topping, and will recommend the best of the day. You can order from 1 piece, and it's a good value. This is a restaurant that can be recommended to both tourists and locals. (*´∀`*)
