硫黄みたいな匂いから、泉質の良さを伺えます。

西圓寺は1473年に創建された古い寺。お寺は昔から地域のコミュニティスペースとしての役割を持っていた。西圓寺もそのような役割を果たしていたようだ。
しかし、地域のお寺もどういう理由かはわからない...
