2017.8 I've been away from Kanazawa for a few years. It's been a while since I last visited. I missed their Bagna Cauda even in Tokyo. Finally, I bought one for home. It's 800 yen and has a 5-day expiration date. The vegetables in Kanazawa are also delicious. I have to buy something good. This time, I had the lunch course for 3,800 yen. The two appetizers were Bagna Cauda, which was delicious on a hot plate. The main dish was duck meat. The flavor and umami of the duck spread when I bit into it, and it was soft but satisfying to eat. I always think that the pasta is just ordinary. It's like the other dishes! I'm not impressed, but it's strange. A little overcooked? A little watery? Maybe? It's delicious, but the pasta is really strange. But it's a restaurant I'd like to visit again when I come to Kanazawa. I wonder when I can come next. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Second visit. The first time was also very delicious, so we chose this restaurant for a special dinner on our wedding anniversary. The course was the early summer special course for 5,000 yen. We added a foie gras dish for an additional 1,200 yen. I love foie gras! The course started with an organic vegetable bagna cauda and was delicious! I want to eat more. It's amazing how your appetite increases as you start to eat. Amuse-bouche, appetizer, foie gras, fish, soup, meat, pasta, and dessert - 8 dishes. Each dish was delicious! It was a continuous barrage of comments. The foie gras was worth the extra serving! Conger eel and foie gras in wine vinegar sauce, refills! That's how it felt. You can adjust the amount of pasta depending on how hungry you are. My partner had a lot. Oh, and the homemade bread is also great. You can have refills of baguette. The dessert at the end was white chocolate mousse with melon sauce. I personally prefer vanilla ice cream over white chocolate mousse. My partner was very impressed. The restaurant was crowded and all the seats were reserved. So I recommend making a reservation on the weekend. If you are two people, you will have to sit at the counter. But the counter is fun because you can see the cooking. It seems that you can take the bagna cauda sauce home if you ask. If I get some delicious vegetables, I'd like to take them home.
