仕事で盛岡に来ました。
夕食は地元の友人と、彼に教えて貰った盛岡の繁華街「大通り」に在るまだ新しいこのステーキ屋さんです。
「焼肉、ステーキの街」盛岡では、多くの店で旨い肉がハイCPで食べられますが、その中でもこの店はその際たる存在ですね。
流通量が少なく「幻」と言っても過言では無い黒毛和牛の『山形最上牛』が思う存分食べられます。
サシがキメ細かく入った肉、その脂はとても甘くて爽やか、赤身の味もしっかりしているのに口の中で溶けちゃうくらいの柔らかさ、コレは間違いなく極上のステーキです。
しかも、シェフがその肉を一切れづつ丁寧に炭火で焼いてくれます。イッキに焼かずに食べるペースに合わせて焼いてくれるので、全てのピースを焼きたてで食べられる、もう言う事無しですな。まるで鮨屋のようです。
『ひれコース』と『ロースコース』を頼んだのですが、あんまし旨いんで『シャトーブリアン』も追加しました。
「イヤ〜、コレは旨いね〜。流石は盛岡！ヨシ、今日は肉だけで腹をいっぱいにするぞ〜。」と気合の入った我々、さらに気になっていた『焼きすき』も追加です。
コレは薄くスライスしたロースを炭火で「サッ」っと焼いて、スキヤキの割下と卵黄につけて食べるメニューです。
コレも一枚づつシェフが焼いてくれるので、常にサイコーのミディアムレアの状態で焼きたてが食べられます。
ステーキにしろ焼きすきにしろ「炭火」で焼くのでしつこくならず、「シェフが一枚づつ焼いてくれる」ので常に「一口目」の美味しさを味わえる、素晴らしい工夫とサービスですな〜。
〆は『ガーリックライス』ですが、コレは海苔巻きになってます。
そしてコレも丁寧に炭火焼き、外はサクっと中はホコホコ、アイデアですな〜。
イヤイヤ、コレは素晴らしい店でした。
ステーキの最も美味しい食べさせ方はこのスタイルでしょうね。
盛岡ってホント肉屋のレベルが高いです。
旨い肉をタラフク食べてワインで良いコンコロモチになったオッサン2人、夜の綺麗どころが揃った店にレッツゴーです〜。
