水沢に仕事で行きまして、タクシーの運転手さんに和食屋さんお手頃な値段で食べられるところを尋ねたところ紹介されたのが、ここのお店でした。「看板は寿司屋メインな感じだけど和食メニュー多く下手に居酒屋行く全然より良いよ」と運転手さん。（それから深夜まで営業の「どんぐり」も教えてもらいましたが、こちらはまた機会があればぜひ行ってみます。）
入ってカウンターに座ったら、メニューが見当たらず、目に留ったのはお勧めの黒板でした。お店のHPや食べログ等で来店前に見ていたのですが、オススメの焼売（なんで寿司屋でw）と刺身、しめ鯖、タコを注文。日本酒大好きな私は、もちろん事前にネットで酒メニューチェックしていました。意外にも（失礼！）でありえないラインナップだったから、正直半分疑ってたけど、ちゃんと磯自慢純米吟醸
（しかも6年熟成だって！）もありました。
夏らしい素敵な青いグラスに注がれた磯自慢、これで一合800円は東京ではなかなかありつけないお値段だと思います。磯自慢の独特のバナナっぽい風味が熟成で深み増して、古酒だから飲み口滑らかな感じでした。
焼売は3種類あったので迷ってたら、ミックスで出せるとおっしゃっていただけ、それでお願いしました。鳥と蟹と前沢牛の焼売。蟹は普段も料理屋さんで食べたことあるような安心のお味でした。
他の2つはオリジナルなのかな？食べたことない味でした。いずれフワフワしておいしかったです。しめ鯖は普通に美味しいです。しかしタコはなかなかの美味。カウンターの店主曰く、今朝まで生きてたタコだから、そりゃ旨いよって言ってましたよ。
磯自慢のあとは、種類多くて迷ったのでオススメの利き酒セットにしてみました。オマカセで三種類の日本酒が出てくるのですが、（こっちで銘柄指定できるのかとたずねた所、それはムリらしい）甘口、辛口、お任せなどざっくりした要望には答えてくださるそうです。
茶托にのった冷酒グラス3つ。パッと見は銘柄わからないのですが、裏返すと銘柄書いてありましてその日の銘柄は、雪の茅舎純吟、来福純吟夏の酒、よえもん（変換できない）純吟斗瓶取り、の三種でした！流石にききあてるのは困難でした！＞＜
どのお酒もレベル高いですね、さすがに。みんな味のベクトルが違っていて、楽しめました。この企画は面白いと思いました。この利き酒セットに、ゴマふぐの白子焼き合わせながら、最後マグロと烏賊を握ってもらい（寿司には「よえもん」一番合うと思った）が帰路につきました。これだけ食べて飲んで4600円はお値頃です！寿司はシャリが東京のものより美味しく感じたのは水のせい？米の違い？
