My five star store! A restaurant with a master who specializes in grilling (bincho charcoal) is definitely different (and delicious). A series of conscientious Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that are extremely cheap and serve drinks extremely quickly even with all-you-can-drink options~ (^^v

I have the impression that the opportunity to encounter Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) like this only happens once a year. I think Iwate is the cheapest supermarket in Tohoku for ingredients. In other words, I'm of the opinion that Iwate is the easiest place to live in Tohoku (lol), but this time I visited Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) on the coast of Iwate, Kamaishi, for the first time. As you know, the entire city of Kamaishi was washed away by the tsunami on March 11th. Kamaishi is now undergoing reconstruction, with new roads and a redeveloped townscape. As such, there aren't that many shops, especially Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and hotels. Kamaishi used to be the second largest city in Iwate and the only city that could compete with Morioka City, but there is no trace of it now. As usual, I didn't take reservations for Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), so before checking into the hotel, I scouted the downtown area and found a sign for robatayaki. That means it's a charcoal-grilled restaurant♪ This looks promising, so I checked the opening hours on Tabelog and went to the restaurant at exactly the opening time! Then, it seems that only 2 groups can enter without a reservation (^^) It's barely safe! It also seems to be the last seat in the yakiba (hearth). ◇90 minutes all-you-can-drink (¥1500 x 2 draft beer included) ◇Various grilled skewers ◇Fried river shrimp ◇Sushi ◇Various oden ◇Shishamo ◇Fried cheese ◇Charge (appetizer x 2) All you can drink, but the service is fast , there is a huge difference from chain stores. When it comes to sake, Hamachidori is excellent, but it is not an all-you-can-drink level sake. Since it's a Kamaishi liquor and seems to be from the neighborhood, it's probably raw sake (it tastes like lactic acid bacteria). Also, the soy sauce is delicious, and this is also from Fujiyu Soy Sauce in my neighborhood. People in Kamaishi only use this soy sauce (^ ^) The man at the grill is actually an intellectual and former stockbroker, and he was also born and raised in an eccentric Edo town. Apparently he quit his job and made Kamaishi his home (to support reconstruction efforts). The food is prepared in-house and the ingredients are good. I also enjoy grilled potatoes and eggplants. I usually only stay Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for an hour, but Kokorobataya is a place where I can't stay for even 90 minutes. Thank you for the meal, a five-star restaurant for ordinary people (me) (^^v)
