香川うどん巡りの３件目として、こんぴらさんに上った後に来店しました。
平日のお昼過ぎの13:30ごろの時間ですが、駐車場はある程度空いていましたが、お店の外には数人並んでおり、盛況ぶりがうかがえます。
名前を書くとかは特になく、そのまま列に並びます。
数分で店内に案内されて、このお店のおすすめであるひや天おろし(1100円)を注文しました。
おでんが店内にセルフで設置されていたので、132円の揚げと牛すじをそれぞれ取ります。
少ししてからひや天おろしが到着して、つゆをぶっかけていただきます。
今までは温かいうどんをいただいていたのですが、冷たいうどんをいただくとうどんのこしを非常によく感じられて、とてもおいしいです。
小麦の風味を感じながらまずはつゆだけでいただき、次は大根おろしを溶かしながらいただき、最後はレモンを絞っていただきます。
レモンは関東とかでよくあるようなただ酸っぱいだけでなく、甘みがあるおいしいレモンでした。
これがまたうどんのつゆを邪魔せず調和しており非常においしいです。
天ぷらも揚げたての天ぷらとなっており、つゆに浸しながらいただくと非常に美味です。
うどんと一緒に食べているとあっという間に完食してしまいました。
天ぷらが好きというのもありますが、個人的には香川のうどんで一番好きなうどんでした。
また、香川に来た際は絶対に来店したいです。
