Uwo Kame-san serves Marugame City's local dish ``Honetsukitori''. It was a dish of grilled chicken thighs with bones attached, and there were parent chickens and baby chickens. The chicken I ordered was chewy and as I chewed it, the umami came out and the beer went well. It's not as black as Miyazaki's charcoal-grilled chicken thighs, so I think the ``boned chicken'' is grilled in an oven rather than over charcoal. There are about 10 brands of Shikoku local sake on the menu. Served as a single go or a shot. The shots are a little more expensive than half price, so it might be better to order one shot for better value for money. I ordered 1 cup of Bijou Junmai Ginjo from Kochi Prefecture. I usually avoid shops that allow smoking throughout, but on that day, all the shops I visited allowed smoking. Uwokame also allowed smoking throughout the store, and the inside of the store smelled like cigarettes. Even delicious food can be half as delicious due to harmful odors. I would rate it higher if you were a non-smoker.
