初めて高松に行った時に食った「骨付鳥」あの時は「親どり」を頼んで、味はよかったものの硬すぎたのを覚えてる。あれから6、7年。街は違うとはいえまたやってきた。
丸亀の街は地方都市らしく物凄く閑散としてたが、入る店はどこも満席という小生の地元でもよくある現象。そしてこの「わきや」は3度目の正直で入れた店やった。
そして迷わず、骨付鳥、半熟うずらのベーコン巻き、もろきゅう、ハイボールとオーダー。
もろきゅうは特別ではなかったけど、新鮮さは爽快。味噌が酒を進める。半熟うずらベーコン。これはええ!東京でもあって欲しいなぁ。。。卵のとろみと混ざったベーコンはこんなにええ味するとは。
そして、この夜の主役「骨付鳥」
旨味爆弾と言うべきか。胡椒と絡んだ味の爆発が凄すぎる。今まで食ってきた鶏肉で一番美味いかも。
あー、これ東京で食えへんかなぁーー。けど、これは丸亀の「門外不出」にするべきかもね。じゃないと丸亀に戻る用は無くなってまうから。
また戻ってきたいこの街。
そしてまた戻ってきたいこの店!
