Delicious chicken on the bone!! A great accompaniment to beer. We also use carefully selected ingredients, so please check it out!
Our specialty chicken tempura, made by grilling each individual skewer of chicken on the bone in a way that is different from other restaurants and marinating it in Konpira garlic and our homemade sau |
Amidst the bustle of first-time shrine visitors, I dropped into the shopping street at the foot of Konpira-san. I had checked out Sanuki Konpira Shichihachigo during my lunch stroll. I popped in to research the bone-in chicken, a specialty of Kagawa. The restaurant has the atmosphere of Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). There was a small counter, so I thought about drinking alone at the counter, but they said it wasn't cleared up, so I went to a table. I was the only one at a table that seats six (lol). I ordered Kurogiri on the rocks, Zuripon, and young bone-in chicken. Zuripon is deep-fried zuri with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce. The crisp, springy texture goes well with the refreshing ponzu sauce. The stylish kiriko Kurogiri makes it taste delicious. Then comes the main dish, the bone-in chicken. It's as big as expected (lol). It's a whole thigh meat that I deep-fried, and I cut it up with scissors and eat it. It was well seasoned with salt and pepper, and the chicken oil added a nice flavour, but it was too big. For an old man who likes to drink rock slowly, it was too much (^^;; I thought it would be the best combination to enjoy it with a beer in hand (^^;; Research done (lol) I enjoyed the night in Kotohira, sipping on the Zuripon and having a second mugi rock (^o^)/ Thank you for the meal~(^-^)/
