Before the departure of the Shinkansen, we had our final review of the Carp Nichinan Camp!! We started at this restaurant on the 5th floor of the main building of AMU Plaza Kagoshima. If the weather is good, you can get a panoramic view of Sakurajima from the counter seats, but unfortunately that's not possible tonight. So we went to the raised seats in the back. Fresh fish seems to be the recommendation, so let's have a sashimi platter. It's beautifully presented. Appearance is important. Everything is fresh, but the firm silver-striped round herring from Kagoshima is especially delicious when dipped in vinegared miso!! We also enjoyed the local chicken, which is on par with that in Miyazaki, with yuzu pepper. We can't find mexicali anywhere else. It was a three-day trip to the Carp Nichinan Camp where we were able to fully enjoy local ingredients.
