なんとなく暇だったので鹿児島にきてみた。飛行機で空港に到着してバスで天文館という繁華街エリアへ。予約しておいたホテルにチェックイン。さてどうしよう。ここからはノープラン。
ということでとりあえず近くで郷土料理が食べられそうな場所を探す。大型連休中だし当日予約は無理かなと思ったんだけど、早い時間ならOKとのことでさっそく繰り出すことにした。
少しわかりづらい外観から地下におりて店に入る。靴を脱いであがるタイプで、掘りごたつ式のカウンターに案内してもらった。
メニューを見て、コレコレとなった。鹿児島っぽいものがたくさんあるぞとテンションあがる。
まずは「地どりの刺身」。歯ごたえのある鶏刺しがおいしい。ひさしぶりに食べたけどいいですね。続いて一番人気とあった「とんこつの煮込み」。豚の角煮に軟骨がついているという感じ。噛み切れるほど煮込まれていて、骨ごといける。
そして刺身。この日は貝柱、水イカ、しめ鯖、そしてキビナゴで盛り合わせにしてもらった。キビナゴは酢味噌でいただいた。鹿児島を感じられるなあ。しめ鯖も有名らしく、しっかり肉厚でおいしかった。
やっぱり芋焼酎を飲もうと黒伊佐錦を水割りでいただいた。地のものをいただくときは、地のお酒ですね。
鹿児島一軒目、いい滑り出しだと思う。
