サザンオールスターズ、わたくしの年代ならばアオハルのBGMとして欠かせません。そんなサザンオールスターズをコンセプトにしている居酒屋があるというので意気揚々と行ってみました。
16時前後に入店。入店したときから？マークがくるくると頭上を飛んでおり「胸騒ぎ」がしていました。やたらサザンのポスター等を掲示してあるものの、内装は普通の居酒屋としか思えません。モニターでは競馬中継が流れております。まぁ、野毛の場外馬券場の近くなのでやむを得ないのでしょう。17時になってやっと店内にサザンオールスターズの曲が流れ始めましたが、モニターでは関係ないミュージシャンの映像が流れております。わたくしは早くも酔っぱらってしまったのでしょうか。サザンオールスターズへの特別な店の思いはわたくしには届きませんでした。
以前、アントニオ猪木酒場や長渕剛カフェに行ったときに感じた求心力、面白さは一切感じられないままたんたんと時が過ぎゆきます。
料理も普通で特筆すべきことはありません。値段が安いのはよいことですが、値段に見合った料理の提供です。刺身の盛り合わせは刺身の質からするとやや高い値段だと感じました。角煮は、飲むためのアテとしての味付けで醤油味の濃いものです。その他、炒飯とかも頼んでみましたが、餅は餅屋にということでしょうか。
カクテルにはサザンオールスターズの曲名が名付けられています。今回はテンションがさがってしまったので頼みませんでした。サザンオールスターズのファンのみなさま、一度、来店してみてください、逆説的に面白いかもしれません。
