I heard that there was a restaurant within walking distance from Yokohama Station where you could drink Japanese sake at a good price, so I went there. From the Minami West Exit (Sotetsu Exit), go down Parnado Street and cross the Okano intersection where Yoshimuraya is located, and it is located on the corner lot on the right hand side. The Yokohama Station area suddenly became quiet when I got to this point, and it felt like I was freed from the hustle and bustle in front of the station. The inside of the store is a large box with small tables lined up on one floor, and is designed to be used by a wide range of people, from small groups to large groups. Ordering is done verbally, which is unusual for this type of restaurant these days, and the staff member carefully explains the menu at the beginning and has great communication skills. The sake you're looking for is popular brands such as Kuheiji, Tatenogawa, and Kokuryu, all available in small 90ml bottles for 500 yen! Furthermore, if you register with the store's official app, you can drink Dassai for just 300 yen! This might be the cheapest as far as I know! Other app registration benefits include being able to choose rare brands of sake that are not on the menu, and being able to enjoy a 2-hour all-you-can-eat meal for 1,580 yen instead of 1,880 yen. It's a simple operation, so it's definitely a good idea to register! The menu consists of Seafood-based sashimi and delicacies, and Hakata Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot). It was a lineup that was sure to get people drinking. What I received was: ◆Appetizer @ 495 yen It was very delicious, with plenty of cucumber, steamed chicken, and sesame sauce. As long as the appetizer is good, everything is fine! Expectations are high. ◆Crab sashimi (5 pieces) 979 yen → 100 yen off at Crab Fair The peeled snow crab legs are full of edible parts and have a melt-in-the-mouth texture, this is a great deal!!! ◆Crab miso shell grilled 658 yen → 200 yen off at Crab Fair A delicacy made by filling the shell with crab miso paste and grilling it until it becomes fragrant. Sake progresses. ◆Engawa Yukhoe 539 yen The crunchy engawa and the sweet and spicy gochujang make it perfect with sake. ◆Large grilled salmon roe 1,848 yen A large fragrantly grilled salmon harasu topped with plenty of salmon roe topping. True to the description, it was really massive. I'm worried about whether I'll be able to make money from this. ◆Handmade Gyoza / Dumpling 649 yen Served piping hot and crispy on a griddle. Garlic-free, so it's safe even the next day. The juicy, handmade filling had a refreshing taste with the hint of ginger. ◆Rice bowl 319 yen It changes daily, and on this day it's ara soup. I'm glad I ordered this as a finishing touch because the soup stock was so flavorful and the meat was edible. As for drinks, we enjoyed not only Cheers draft beer (premol draft @ 692 yen) and Dassai (300 yen), but also various sakes that caught our eye. I was surprised that this amount of food and drink cost less than 10,000 yen for two people! I was lucky that there was an app benefit and it happened to be a crab fair, but even without that, the cost performance was quite high. If you go early, you can get even better deals at happy hour! ? This is a must-see for drinking in Yokohama! Highly recommended for people who like Japanese sake and want to drink it deliciously and at a good value.
