During Golden Week, the internet was closed on the morning of the day, so I called to inquire, and they said it was possible from 2 p.m., so I made a reservation and went. The Golden Week rate was 6,500 yen per adult. The theme was "Japanese gourmet travelogue - Miyagi and Tohoku". Ingredients that we don't usually have the chance to eat, such as Amiebi shrimp, Hoya, Sendai miso, and frozen tofu, were used. However, there was no grilled Cow tongue Cow tongue which was a bit disappointing, considering the theme was Miyagi. It seems that they have it for dinner, but... It would have been nice if they had beef Cow tongue or stew. There were no menu items that were particularly eye-catching, and to be honest, they were all a bit plain or austere. The roast beef and hayashi rice, which were not on the event menu, were more satisfying, as they were what you would expect from a hotel buffet. However, the roast beef was quite inconsistent, sometimes with a lot of fat on it and sometimes just lean. For dessert, there were many easy-to-understand themes, such as Zunda Parfait, Zunda Cake, and Sendai Miso Florentine, so it was fun to choose. It was also great to be able to eat the high-end Soft serve ice cream, Cremia. Everything was delicious, but perhaps because of the theme, it felt like a rather somber All-you-can-eat buffet for adults, and I felt it was lacking (although I'm quite old). I think this is a matter of preference, so I'll go again if there's a theme that interests me.
