この店のルーツは名古屋発祥で百年を超す老舗の鶏料理専門店らしい。
入口で前精算してから席で待つスタイル。
○ 香草美水鶏親子丼唐揚げセット¥1,133を注文
香草美水鶏という名前は知らなかったが、
有名な名古屋コーチンという地鶏に対し、香草美水鶏というのは三和の銘柄鶏ということらしい。
大きな盆には、半熟の色も鮮やかな親子丼と大きな唐揚げ二個に鶏のスープに梅干しが付いている。
とろとろの半熟卵にあっさり目の鶏肉の親子丼は、名古屋にしては味付けが濃ゆくない。これくらいがちょうどいい。
唐揚げは外側こんがりでスパイシーで、中はジューシー。
唐揚げの方が、この銘柄鶏の特徴をよく引き出せているのかと思う。
