月曜日。今日も仕事です。12時過ぎたので、昼にしようと関内方面へ歩きます。
休日だからなのでしょうか、閉まっている所が多い感じ。
このままではランチ難民になってしまいそうなので、目についたチェーン店の居酒屋ランチでいいかと、此方へ。
表のメニュー看板を見て、カレーうどんもいいなと思いながら、中へ入ります。
二人と告げると、真ん中の半個室の二人席へ。隣のご婦人方は昼間からビールをいただいてます。
羨ましい限り、仕事でなければ飲めたのに。しかし、ここはぐっと我慢。
注文は再度メニューを見て心がわり。
牡蠣・海老・白身魚フライ合盛り定食にします。
しばし待つこと10分くらいで配膳。
フライはイメージしていたものより幾分か小さめ、悪く言えば貧弱。
まあ、自分で選んだものなので文句を言ってはいけません。気を取り直して、いただきます。
一口サイズのカキフライ、タルタルに付けますがそれなりの味。もう旬が過ぎたのかなと思うくらいのもの。
エビフライ、白身魚フライも同じような感想。
それでも箸は進むので、まあまあいただけます。
ご飯、味噌汁はおかわりできますが一杯で終わりそう。
同僚が頼んだ刺身と唐揚げの定食。
唐揚げがてんこ盛り、もちろんおかわりをしています。
一足先に食べ終わり、ふと耳を傾けているとBGMには昭和の歌謡曲や70年代アメリカンポップスが。
ロックンロール・ウィドウって山口百恵の歌は久しぶり40年くらい前？結構コアな曲？がかかってます。
同僚は腹パンのようですが、今日の私は腹八分目で抑える事が出来て良かったかも知れません。
