1979年（昭和54年）創業の老舗。横浜の関内駅前にあり、存在自体は認識していましたが、全くノーマークでした。
最近、尊敬する横浜における食のプロが評価されているのを知り、土日祝のみ提供されているランチメニュー＆昼呑みを頂きに初訪店しました。お誕生を迎えられた投資家さんと三名で。
ランチメニューは6種類あり、私は、
●甲州信玄鶏もも肉のコンフィ（1000円）
投資家さんとパートナーは、
●特製オムライス（1000円）
をオーダー。
それぞれにパンプキンスープとキャロットラペ・鶏レバームース・ピクルスが付きます。
ランチメニューの前に、前菜として
●本鮪のカルパッチョ（1200円）
を頂きました。肥後天草湾もしくは丹波伊根浦の生簀育ち、とのことです。
鶏コンは皮のパリパリ感や鶏肉の旨味もしっかり出ていて良いですが、トマトソースの必要がよく分かりませんでした。ソース自体は美味しいので、ライスとの相性でしょうか。鶏皮のパリパリ感が損なわれるような気がします。
オムライスは、トマトソースとドミグラスソースの2種を味わえるもので、パートナーによるとなかなか美味で、横浜の老舗洋食店よりも美味しい、とのことでした。
アルコールはまず、キリンの生、そのあとはグラススパークリング「ラルス・スプマンテ・ブリュット」を。
総料理長の竹田直人氏は、「霧笛楼」の今平茂シェフの元で修行なさったのち、フランスの名店で腕を磨かれたとのことで、随分とリーズナブルな価格帯のなかで、食材の産地にこだわりつつ、奮闘なさっているのがよく分かりました。
ワインリストも、かなりお手頃価格に抑えられています。
投資家さんのお誕生だったこともあり、デザートプレートを頂戴しました。有り難うございました！
なかなか良いお店です。
やはり夜にお邪魔しないといけないですね。
