これまであまりふぐには興味を持てないでいたのですが、このお店には、水槽で泳ぐふぐがいて、店の前を通るたびになんとなく気になっていました。
そこでちょっとした記念日に思い切って２人で行ってみました。休日の１７時ちょっと過ぎでしたが、もう半分弱の席が埋まっていました。なんとか予約なしで入れましたが、予約していく方がいいと思います。
何を頼んだらいいのかよく分からなかったので、さしあたり１番人気のコースと書かれていた醍醐コース１人4980円（サービス料5%別)をお願いしました。内容は、湯引き、てっさ、とらふぐ唐揚げ、てっちり、雑炊、デザートです。
湯引きはお通しのような入れ物で出されて、お湯を通した細く切ったふぐ皮、ポン酢、もみじおろしが入っています。てっさで感心した点として、ねぎ（２種類）ともみじおろしといった薬味がたっぷり付いていて、更にポン酢がおいしいことです。この辺にお店のこだわりを感じました。
唐揚げは、骨なしの部分と骨付きの部分がありますが、骨付きの方がふぐらしい味がして好みでした。ただ、小骨が多くて食べるのが大変です。手がべとべとになってしまいましたが、おしぼりがコースの最初、中盤、最後と３回出てきたので、助かりました。おしぼりに限らず、料理のタイミングなど店員さんのサービスは良かったと思います。
てっちりは、紙の鍋で出てきました。箸が当たっても大丈夫かなと心配になりましたが、なんともありませんでした。骨付きのあら、しゃぶ身、皮の３種類がありました。その他に、白菜、ねぎ、春菊、しいたけ、葛きり、豆腐が付いていました。ふぐでは、あらが一番好みでした。しかし、何と言っても鍋の後で作る雑炊がおいしかったです。最後のデザートは、抹茶のアイス、メープルナッツのアイス、ゆずシャーベットから１つを選べます。メープルナッツをお願いしました。
今回はよく分からなかったので１番人気の醍醐コースをお願いしましたが、自分の好みが分かったので、今度行くときは単品で注文してみてもいいかなと思いました。隣のテーブルで食べていた焼きふぐもおいしそうでした。
