We visited Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Masa. This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located just over 5 minutes walk from the east exit of JR Tsurumi Station and Keikyu Tsurumi Station. Just before 6pm on a weekday after work. I didn't have a reservation, so I thought I'd be able to get in, but it turned out to be fine. However, it was almost full by the time we left around 7:00, so it would be safer to make a reservation. Inside, there are 4 seats at the counter and several tables. The shop is run by two people, the manager and a part-time worker. Something to drink? After answering the voice asking for a draft beer, I took a closer look at the menu. There is a standard menu that is printed and posted in front of you, and a daily special menu on the blackboard. Yay, I found a "Happy Hour" sign on a pillar. It's 880 yen for a drink, overnight-selection horse mackerel, and 3 side dishes. It says that if you drink beer you get 100 yen more, but it's still a good deal. I was thinking of ordering horse mackerel dried overnight. I asked the manager if I could have this now (I had already ordered a beer), and he said it was fine, so I asked him to do so. You did it! The three selection snacks were cold tofu, lotus root kinpira-style, and kelp tsukudani. All in very small quantities. But hey, it's nice to be able to eat a little bit of a variety of things. Horse mackerel dried overnight also arrived. It looks strangely whitish. However, dried horse mackerel is delicious once you eat it. I'm out of beer, so I'm going for a hoppy black. The amount of contents is reasonable. The additional order was an assortment of 2 pieces of sashimi (780 yen) that matched the blackboard menu. Tuna and octopus. Both the tuna and octopus are meaty and delicious. Hoppy has one refill (250 yen), and it's time for the final dish. I chose Neapolitan (680 yen). After all, when I go to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and they have napo, I inevitably have to order it. As for me. Despite being busy, Napo arrived right at the time when the 6 people who had booked arrived without having to wait. The noodles are thick and authentic. The toppings are wiener and green pepper, which is nice. It also contained carrots, but the texture was hard and didn't go well with it, so it was a little different for me. The bill was 3,487 yen. All of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice, but I feel like this restaurant lacks the appealing points that should make people come to this restaurant. Isn't it cruel to want something that can only be eaten here or something that is overwhelmingly cheap?
