京急線杉田駅から徒歩2分程度。新杉田駅方面とは逆側に歩きます。こちらの方はあまり飲食店はなく、少し寂しい通りです。
外観からは昔ながらの雰囲気が漂ういわゆる居酒屋ではありますが、一見は少々入り難いかもしれないですね。
店内はカウンター、テーブル、隣には大人数でも宴会が出来るようなスペースもあり、お店は意外と大きいです。
常連さんが多く、年齢層も店の雰囲気にしては意外と若い人も少なくありません。
メニューは冊子になっている通常メニューと、日々変わるボードのメニュー。
冊子だけ見ると「これだけ？」という印象はありますがボードには通常メニュー以上のオススメメニューがあり、メニュー数は常時多めです。
ジャンルもおつまみ系は勿論、鮮魚、肉、カレーやグラタンがある日もあるのでほぼノンジャンルですね。
味はいわゆる家庭料理に近い印象。
決して真似出来ないような味ではないのですが、どれも親しみ易く、安定感があります。
何より、行く度に目新しいメニューが何品かあるので、全く飽きが来ません。
接客ですが、こちらは何より女将さんの接客が素晴らしいです。フレンドリーな接客で、かなり気配りをされていて、良い距離感でやられているなという印象。常連さんが馴染むのもよく分かります。
強いて言うと、このフレンドリーさが少々客層を悪くしているかもしれないですね。
一般的なお店では注意をされるような騒ぎ方をする団体、恐らく常連だと思いますが、そういうお客がたまにいる事があります。そこは運ですね。
馴染みやすいお店なので常連になると、非常に居心地が良いお店だと思います。
