【店舗紹介 より】
※(九つ井の由来)東国における有力な戦国大名、小田原の北條氏が相模の国を平定し、武蔵まで進出するようになりますと、鎌倉山に連なる戸塚一帯の山並みは、戦略要地としての重要な拠点となり、戦略要害として玉縄城を築城いたしました。この玉縄城に相対して、ここ田谷の山上に平戸御前という豪族が居を構えていたのです。しかし、この辺りは高台のため飲料水にことかき、ふもと一帯に湧き出る泉が館の大切な飲料となり、泉には水番人を置き管理したそうです。この沢山の泉にちなんでいつからとわなしに、この辺りを九つ井(ここのついど)と呼ぶようになったということです。
※食事を愉しむ時は、お料理の味、心のこもったサービス、 そして非日常的なエンターテメント性を味わって頂くことも大切になことだと考えています。九つ丼では自家ィがあり、 お料理を盛るうつわ、エクステリアの陶器やガラスは全て自家工房で手作りしています。お料理の味はもちろん、いろいろなことへのこだわりの形が、九つ井はいつ来ても美味しくて、なにか楽しい・ 来店して下さった方が・また来たいな・と思ってくださるような店づくりを絶えず目指しています。
