その店は京急富岡駅の真前にある。
店の看板、暖簾やのぼりにはとんかつと書かれていたので、
とんかつ屋さんだと思って入ると、調理場の上に貼られた短冊には揚物が確かに多いが、
刺身定食とか馬刺しとかめし飯屋や居酒屋の品々が書かれていた。
高齢めの親子で切り盛りしているようだ。
しかも喫煙可能のようだ。
先客の人達は酒を呑みながら煙草を吸っている人もいる。
近隣に住んで酒を飲み煙草を吸う人はこの店の客になると思う。
短冊メニューにはない、
特上ヒレかつ定食 \1,350
を注文。
作って貰っている間に他のお客が注文している品を見渡すと、刺身などの定食が注文されていて凄く良さげに見える。
品書きで値段を確かめるとかなり安価。皆さん揚物と海鮮の品の両方を酒の当てに頼んでいるように見える。
運ばれて来た盆を確かめる。
3個のヒレかつはそれぞれ半分に切られ、キャベツと半分に切られたミニトマトが皿に盛られ、
それにご飯と豚汁が付き、ぶどうと梅叩きの碗、梅叩きは入った小皿が付く。
ヒレかつは十分に美味しいが、もう少し価格が高くとも分厚く切られたのが好きだ。とは言えこの値段でこの品質だと文句は全くない。まさに“よかろう“。
ご飯は美味しいコメだった。
高級ではなく庶民的なとんかつと海鮮のお店。
今度伺う時は海老とヒレかつ、厚切りロースかつも食べとるみたい。
