平日正午前の訪問で先客が一組。一風変わった間引かれたの店内の3人掛けのテーブル席に着き、文字のみのメニュー表から かつ丼とそばのセット 1,000円に決め、橋本愛さん似のお姉さんへ冷そばでオーダー。
昭和歌謡曲が流れる店内の、壁に掲示の夜のメニュー構成を眺めること待つ事およそ12分で完成。
■かつ丼とそばのセット（吸い物+煮物香の物付き)
・かつ丼
分厚くてジューシーなカツにタップリ玉ねぎ、つゆだく仕上げ。
セットのかつ丼で在りがちな、パッサパサで味気ないものとは対照的な旨味のあるちゃんとしたカツ。
小さく見える丼は、底が深いうえに広いのでご飯がたっぷり詰まってる。甘辛いつゆもしっかりしみ込んでますので、最後まで美味しく食べられます。
・冷そば
十割というこちらのそばは、機械でギューッと圧縮して繋げたであろう、粉の詰まったアルデンテのような食感。
そばの味がしっかりと楽しめるそば。
本格的なタイプではないものの、そば好きの勘どころを十分にとらえた、ある意味「変わりそば」。
そば湯は出入口付近のお茶サーバー付近に、ポットに入って用意されています。
この内容でジャスト1,000円。そばが650円だから、この立派なかつ丼と吸い物が350円でいただけちゃう。
しかも、両品とも街蕎麦店のアベレージ値を遥かに超える質感がある。オペレーションにはやや難がありますが、時間に余裕があれば利用価値は大！
