Originally the brand was "Yachi". How it was chosen as ``81'': The name symbolizes ``81,'' the Japanese country code used for international calls, with the hope that the name would spread from Niigata to the rest of the world. The logo captures our desire for people to casually enjoy historical Japanese sake.The number 81 is shaped with a chocolate and a cocktail glass, and all letters are written in English to create an image of a ``sake of the near future'' from the label. In addition, the label includes fireworks from the Nagaoka Festival Fireworks Festival, one of Japan's three major fireworks, to pray for the further prosperity of Nagaoka City.

A sake that you can drink as if it were flowing. So that you can let go of things you don't like. The initials ``NGS'' of NAGASU are used for Niigata sake and Japanese sake cost sake brewery.
