鎌倉散策の際、ランチで利用しました。
江ノ電由比ヶ浜駅を出て海側に3分ほど歩いたところにお店はあります。
お店は由比ヶ浜海岸に出る角にありますが、角のすぐ近くは勝手口で、そこから少し通りを進んだところがお店の入口になっています。
専用駐車場はなく、周囲にコインパーキングらしきものはありません。
由比ヶ浜海岸の県営駐車場がありますが、空いている保証はないので、大人しく公共交通機関を使っての訪問が無難かと思われます。
前日予約の電話を入れたところ、予約枠は一杯ですが、当日枠の記帳が10:30に始まるとのことでした。
週末10:20に到着したところ、すでに先客2組、無事1巡目で入店できました。
注文したのは「すだち鬼おろしそば」(1980円)。
店員さんに口頭でオーダー、支払いは帰る際にテーブルチェックとなります。
注文してから提供までは5分もかかりませんでした。
人気メニューにつき、ある程度用意されていて、オーダーが入ったら茹でる、というシステムになっているのかも知れません。
さっぱりしたすだちの風味と鬼おろしの食感、これに硬めに茹でられた蕎麦の組み合わせは、なんとも夏っぽい風情のある逸品です。
冬に食べるのもいいかも知れませんが、やはり夏、それも初夏にこそ食べたい、冷たい蕎麦です。
あっという間に平らげて、ちょっとのんびりしてからお店を後にしたのが11:30頃でしたが、記帳台を見てみると待ちは2組くらいになっていました。
桜や紫陽花、紅葉の季節はこうはいかないのでしょうが、何度でも来てみたいお店です。
