都心からも近くかつて避暑地や保養地として知られた材木座の閑静な住宅街にある昭和6年に建てられた日本家屋の風情のある佇まいを残したからすみ蕎麦の店です。
場所は、材木座五丁目の交差点から材木座海岸方面に1分ほど。駐車場がないので、鎌倉駅からは京急バスか近隣の駐車場を利用することになります。
赤提灯が掲げられた門をくぐると俳優の石坂浩二さんが書かれた「月と松」の店名の暖簾が出迎えてくれます。こちらは「イチリンハナレ」を立ち上げた会社が運営しているようです。
今回は平日ランチに仲間同士で予約して伺い、お料理とからすみ蕎麦のショートコース(3,500円)を注文。からすみ蕎麦にアオリイカとグリンピースのすり流しと卵の春巻きが添えられていました。初夏の装いにピッタリの色鮮やかなグリーン色が素敵でした。
名物のからすみは瀬戸内海の坊勢島のボラの卵から塩だけで手仕込みされた自家製で、スライスと削りを喉越しが良い蕎麦と一緒に食べると、からすみ特有の香りが口に広がり美味しいです。さらに添えられた三浦大根の水気と甘味もからすみの塩気が緩和されて旨味が引き立ちます。
蕎麦湯はあらかじめ蕎麦つゆでちょうど良い濃さに割られてお洒落なはまぐりの器で提供され、こちらも美味しい。
日本庭園を眺めながら数寄屋造りの味わいある日本家屋の広間でゆったりとした贅沢なランチタイムを過ごすことができ、古き良き日本文化を改めて感じました。ごちそうさまでした。
