A yakitori restaurant located a little way from the Motosumiyoshi Bremen side. There is also one in Musashi Nakahara, so I wonder if that is the main store? The location where this former Sumiyoshi store is located has not been well established due to the slow turnover of stores, but this one seems to be doing relatively well. Every now and then I would pass by the store and I'd notice that they often had happy hour or other promotions where drinks were cheaper, so I was curious. When I went to the front of the store, since it was a Monday, they were offering beer that normally costs 380 yen for 250 yen. Well, I don't plan on drinking beer that much, but I thought 250 yen was cheap so I decided to give it a try. There are three counters that seat two people, table seats, and a small raised area. I sat at the counter. First, let's toast with beer. The mug is crispy cold and delicious. The appetizer was something I didn't understand, like fish with ponzu sauce, which was not good. When I looked at the menu, there was Reba Sashimi. So I ordered chicken liver sashimi, horse mackerel namero, and vegetable sticks. I tried to order one piece of yakitori with one heart and one kaseri, but since the limit was two pieces per person, I ordered only the heart. First of all, the heart. This is well-cooked and delicious. Chicken liver sashimi is eaten with sesame oil mixed with salt and garlic. However, pork liver is better than chicken liver. So this is a little too much. The person next to me had a 2-course serving, but the portion for each dish would be a little smaller, so if you're alone, it might be better to start with a 2-course serving. Aji no Namerou appears. Hmm, this is also a large amount. It's 690 yen, but I wish they would cut the price in half and the quantity. And this one is a little salty. Next came vegetable sticks. Yeah, this is too much. It contains carrots, daikon radish, cucumber, and cabbage, but you only need about half of these. The cooks in the kitchen were new to cooking, and the people who were making single-dish dishes were teaching the cooks as they made them. However, the yakitori was delicious, but the single items were too salty, and the bottom of the vegetable stick wasn't cut properly, so I couldn't tell which was which. After beer, I ordered Oolong Hai. The mug is nice and cold. There is a TV in the store, so you can watch it while drinking. There are three seats at the counter set for two people, but all of them are used by single customers. A customer came later and I thought we would be seated at the counter, but he was taken to a table. The portions of food are huge, but it seems to be popular among solo customers. Or maybe I just have a small stomach? As for the service by day of the week, draft beer is 250 yen on Mondays. The drink service around here is attractive, with sours priced at 250 yen on Wednesdays and highballs priced at 250 yen on Thursdays. It's a good deal if you visit around here. My personal impression is that it's more suitable for multiple people than one person.
