元住吉で小一時間飲みたいと思って寄った店。
本当は隣の立ち飲み、夢やに行こうかと思ってたのだが、
あまりいい思い出がなかったのでどうしようかと思ったら隣にハッピーアワーの文字。
こんな店あったっけ？と思いながらも、
1階は立ち飲みでチャージなしのようなので思い切って訪問。
17時。
先客はゼロ。
コロナ対策でカウンターに透明シートがなされており、
その先に貼ってあるメニューが歪んで全く見えない…笑
ハッピーアワーって何が対象ですか？
と聞くと、
生ビールが300円、サワーが200円とのこと。
とりあえずビール。
何か頼みたいにもメニューが見えないため、
かがんで透明シートの下から除くという怪しい人に…悲
本日のメニューがホワイトボードにあり、
とりあえずと金時草と茗荷の酢の物380円を。
美味しかったけど少なかったな〜
立ち飲み屋だからな〜
調理感のあるものを試したいと思い馬肉の赤ワイン煮をオーダー。
と、馬肉ないんです…
との返事。
え、ここ馬肉やじゃないのか？
じゃあ馬刺しもユッケも白子もないんだろうな…
気を取り直して、
またホワイトボードから鶏と夏野菜の塩照り焼き530円を。
これがなかなか来なかった。
15分近く経ったかな。
厨房は一人なのか、順番に作っているようだ。
ようやく来たものがすごく良かった！
まずビジュアル。
素揚げされたオクラやカボチャ、レンコン、ナスといった夏野菜が見事左右対称に円錐に並べられ、
塩あんかけのようなもので照り焼きされている。
鶏肉も結構なボリュームだ。
立ち飲み屋の割には高いと思ったがこれなら納得。
味も上品。
個人的にはやや油の多さが気になったものの、
そもそもそういうメニューなので仕方ない。
満足して退店。
生ビール3杯飲んで2000円ほど。
うん、外税ね。
立ち飲み屋として利用するならハッピーアワーじゃないと意味ないな。
何人かで立つならばもう少し注文できて良いだろう。
ま、立ち飲み屋として使うのはコスパが悪いけど、
一品頼んでさくっと出るなら美味しさ的にありだろう。
