I was unable to get a reservation for Kisoji during the New Year's meeting. I made a reservation by phone in the morning on the day, and was able to visit around 7:30pm. I ordered the domestic beef loin shabu shabu shabu colorful course and the additional grilled Tempura fish milt. The course consisted of the following: Appetizer: puffer fish jelly tempura, 2 shrimp tempura, pumpkin, shishito Sushi, steamed shrimp, red fish, salmon, yellowtail, egg Fried food: chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), chicken, white fish, lily of the valley, mitsuba (honeybee), domestic beef loin shabu shabu-shabu, vegetable platter: carrot, glass noodles, daikon, wakame (seaweed), tofu, enoki mushroom, chives, bean sprouts, Chinese cabbage, kishimen (Japanese noodles), rice, pickles, dessert I arrived by car, and since it wasn't worth the trouble of asking for a replacement, I had a few non-alcoholic beers. Tempura was crispy and excellent, but the nigiri Sushi was on par with that at Conveyor belt sushi. The staff were very friendly and the appetizer of puffer fish jelly and the additional grilled puffer fish milt were good, but since it was a cheap course, the main beef seemed a little tough. I thought it would have been better to order the "Wagyu marbled beef" which is 1,000 yen more expensive. There seems to have been a scandal at another restaurant, so I hope they do their best. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.
