Pork innards grilled on a charcoal grill for the first time in 7 months
■■■Revisited in August 2020■■■ On this day, I decided to drink with my senior who I hadn't had a drink with for a while due to COVID-19 for the first time in five months. I thought I'd drink here once, as I thought the mood of self-restraint might reignite in the future. I will continue to refrain from drinking with large groups, but I plan to gradually start drinking with a few people while taking measures against COVID-19. Here is the restaurant I chose to reopen, which also serves as a measure against summer fatigue. [a:https://tabelog.com/rvwr/000436901/rvwdtl/B426609331/,The last time I grilled pork innards was in January before the self-restraint. I grilled pork innards on a charcoal grill for the first time in seven months. I was the first to arrive at 3 p.m. when the restaurant opened. I disinfected my hands with alcohol at the entrance and entered the restaurant. My temperature was taken when I sat down. The windows were open for ventilation, so I took a cool spot where the air conditioner was blowing. I sat at a table diagonally opposite each other, and each of us prepared chopsticks for eating and chopsticks for grilling. I guess this kind of thing will become a daily occurrence in the future. First, we each toasted with a large bottle of beer (650 yen). We had: ・Hormone (600 yen) *Shiro ・ Yakiniku (Grilled meat) (500 yen) *Kashira ・Heart (500 yen) ・Liver (500 yen) ・Mixed vegetables (500 yen) ・Nankotsu (550 yen) ・Kalbi (750 yen) You can choose to have the heart with sauce or salt, but if you choose selection choice, it came with salt. It has a great texture and is delicious. It's chewy, so salt was the right choice. We grilled the horumon slowly. At first, the charcoal was not very strong, so it took quite a while. It might have been better to wait until the heat had stabilized. The kashira, which is called Yakiniku (Grilled meat), has a good flavor that comes out when you chew it. The liver was quite filling. The mixed vegetables were an assortment of green peppers, onions, carrots, eggplant, and shiitake mushrooms. The raw shiitake mushrooms were thick and delicious. The nankotsu here was the open type. It seems to be quite soft compared to the nankotsu at other restaurants. Be careful not to overcook the kalbi. It's absolutely delicious. After the large bottle of beer, I ordered: - Lemon sour (450 yen) x 2. The lemon sour contains lemon slices. It's not too sweet and has just the right amount of bitterness. It's a mug, so there's plenty. Looking at the menu, it looked like you couldn't mix it with tea unless you had a bottle, so I ordered another lemon sour. We stayed for 1 hour and 45 minutes, and the bill came to about 3,300 yen per person. By the time we left, the place was about half full. It was a long time since I'd last grilled pork innards, and I enjoyed my drinks. Thank you for the meal.

■■■Revisited in July 2021■■■ I was feeling a bit tired from the summer heat and suddenly wanted to grill something, so I came here for the first time in a long time. It was around 3:10 p.m., and there were already a few customers there. This place had been closed for a while due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so even at this time there were quite a few customers. This is a restaurant that encourages silent eating, but since I was drinking alone this time, I was eating silently anyway. The raised area in the back was surprisingly deep. I was guided to a seat for one person against the wall near the back. There were three chairs, but they were probably for storing luggage. There were also one table for two people, one table for three people, and nine tables for four people, and the raised area was spacious at the back. We started with a large bottle of beer (650 yen). We were given two chopsticks so that we could use one for eating and one for grilling. This time, I had: ・Hormone (600 yen) *Shiro ・ Yakiniku (Grilled meat) (500 yen) *Kashira ・Onion (400 yen) ・Pigtail (500 yen) ・Tongue (500 yen) There was a good value mix, but I wanted to eat the kashira properly, so I ordered everything separately. Kashira is called Yakiniku (Grilled meat) here. It's very salty, so it goes well with sake. When grilled, some hormones become round like shirokoro. They roll around on the grill, so you have to be careful when grilling. They have a slightly unusual flavor, but that's actually a good thing. The onion has a bitter taste, which makes it a good accent as a condiment. The pigtails and tongue are salted. Tongue is grilled quickly, but the pigtails are grilled slowly. The pigtails have a lot of mucus. I sometimes scald them and eat them sashimi, but now that I think about it, it's been a while since I've grilled them. They come with lemon, so I dab them with lemon juice. Tongue is often eaten with lemon juice, but pigtails also go well with lemon. Actually, if you use salt on lean pork, lemon goes well with it. The pork tripe has a good texture. It's just as soft as cartilage. When you grill the tongue, salt crystals will stick to it, so it may be quite salty. They change the grill at appropriate times, but you have to turn the meat over after changing it, so I think it's better to ask when there is no meat left. After the large bottle of beer, I had: ・Lemon sour (450 yen) x 2. I found out from the sign on the wall that this lemon sour is Kodama sour. It was delicious, so I had a second serving. I also added the lemon that I used for the lemon juice. I think I could drink as many of these lemon sours as I wanted. My bill came to 4,050 yen for an hour and 15 minutes. It's nice that this place opens early. Thank you for the meal.
