Late New Year's party at Sazan-ya in Ebina! Last weekend, I went to a late New Year's party in Ebina City, a major city in the central part of Kanagawa Prefecture! The area in front of Ebina Station has really developed dramatically in the past 20 years! In front of Ebina Station, where three lines, the Odakyu Odawara Line, the Sotetsu Main Line, and the JR Sagami Line, are running, condominiums and buildings are being built one after another, and the city, which was once called the "city without a navel," has undergone a major transformation! Ebina City is located 40 kilometers from Tokyo and 20 kilometers from Yokohama, and the Tomei Expressway and National Route 246 cross the long north-south terrain. People outside the city may be more familiar with the Ebina Service Area on the Tomei Expressway than the station! In particular, there are probably few people who don't know that it is famous for its melon bread. There is the "Romance Car Museum" which opened in April 2021, and in the east exit area, the "Vina Walk" was completed in 2002, and a pedestrian deck has been developed. It's been 8 and a half years since I last came to Vina Walk Meanwhile, development of the west exit area, which used to be a rural area, was delayed, but in 2015 "LaLaport Ebina" opened, and the pedestrian deck is now connected to the east and west sides, increasing the sense of unity around the station. Today's New Year's party venue is Sazan-ya Ebina! Some people may think that the name Sazan is related to Southern All Stars, but that's not the case. According to the organizer, this private room is hard to get, so he made the reservation last year! I'm grateful to the organizer! The draft beer we had was Premium Malts! This restaurant is a Suntory certified divine foam super master store, so the Premium Malts were really delicious. It paid for itself in no time. We also had the relatively high-class potato shochu "Akarui Noson", so it was a very satisfying New Year's party! We ended with a mini tuna bowl!
