It was a day off, so I went for a walk and looked for a place to have lunch near Odawara Station. Oops, the restaurant that used to be "Guinomi Ohashi" has changed. It's "Wabo Teppan Hashibami". The restaurant is located on the first basement floor, a 3-minute walk from the east exit of JR Tokaido Line Odawara Station. It looks like a high-end restaurant, but according to MyReview, the lunch seems to be reasonably priced. When I entered the restaurant, the staff recommended a counter seat. The counter is a special seat where Teppan-yaki is cooked right in front of you... There are also table seats. First, I quenched my thirst with a highball (600 yen). The chef recommended sashimi as an appetizer, and I also had amberjack and grunt (440 yen). Both Small dish and sashimi were very delicious. The menu is decided. Teppan-yaki Hamburg set meal (1,100 yen). The menu is divided into three price levels, 880 yen, 1100 yen, and 1650 yen, and Steak set meal looked delicious too (lol). After waiting for 10 minutes, Hamburg Teppan-yaki arrived in front of me. It wasn't the type that had a lot of juice, but it was meaty and went down well with the rice. The demi-glace sauce was a nice accent, and the waiter said, "You can have more rice!" so of course I asked for more. The rice was also incredibly delicious. I was happy to be able to eat Hamburg grilled on Teppan-yaki for this price. I would like to come again in the evening, but the evening courses are 6600-16500 yen... so I'll just come for lunch for now (lol).
