“Holiday Tabelog 100 Famous Restaurants in Hakone & Odawara” [No.3] ◇After walking around Hakone Yumoto, we headed for today’s main course, lunch! ️This is ``Kikukaso'', which is a ``villa of Fujiya Hotel'' in ``Miyanoshita'' and is also a ``100 famous Japanese Cuisine It is said that this was once an ``Imperial mansion''✨ [Nearest station/location] ◇ It takes less than 10 minutes on foot from Miyanoshita Station. There is also a parking lot, so it was easy to get there by car. ◇By car, come up from the Yumoto direction, pass Miyanoshita Station, go to "Gora" or "Ashi Lake" at the T-junction, and the entrance is on the left just after heading towards "Gora"! ️ [Visit time/day of the week] ◇We visited on weekdays around 11:20 a.m. on Monday. On this day, with snow in the forecast, the situation was very calm and it was like a private reservation. When you park your car and enter the building, you will see a beautiful hall and hallway, and when you enter the guest room, you can see the courtyard from there ✨ It was raining when we arrived, but by the time we started eating the food, it suddenly turned into a snowy landscape. [Food Impressions] ◇Since it is a ``gozen'' meal, after the aperitif (non-alcoholic options are also available) and the ``appetizer'', the food is basically served all at once! ️ ◇There are so many dishes that it would be difficult to explain them one by one, so I would like to introduce some of the dishes that impressed me. *Please refer to the photo for the menu. ・Sashimi (sea bream) ⇒The sea bream was sweet and fresh. The tuna was sticky and delicious, but the Odawara red sea bream sashimi was a very delicious dish.・Fried Fried food ⇒It felt more like Fried food than Tempura, but the batter was well thought out and the texture and taste were excellent. The shiitake mushroom Tempura that came with it was thick and resembled abalone✨ ・Yurikon dango ⇒Personally, this was the most delicious one. It is a rice cake made with lily root stuffed with something similar to Steamed meat buns ingredients and served with dashi soup. It was a wonderful dish in both texture and taste.・Saikyo-yaki cod ⇒I had Saikyo-yaki from the grilled dishes, and the cod was carefully grilled without any small bones, and the meat was soft and elegant and delicious! ️ ・White rice ⇒The white rice that goes well with various side dishes was also delicious. The rice was really delicious in terms of gloss, hardness, and moisture.✨ [Special note] ◇The food is served carefully by a staff member wearing a kimono.
